The Irish have many legends and many romantic stories, so it should not amaze us why Irish engagement rings are so beautiful and special. Irish engagement rings have many lines, bows and other symbols representing the unity of the two people that will get married. All Irish engagement rings are inspired from the past and from the Irish symbols, so if you want something special, it is time to look for Irish engagement rings and see all the options and designs that there are. If you do not like what symbols and lines the Irish engagement rings have, you can go to a jeweler and ask him to personalize the ring you chose by engraving the symbol you want.

It can be anything, but its importance will be huge. Do not forget to explain that symbol to your future fiancée when you will propose to her and offer her the ring. All Irish engagement rings are different from the majority of the rings and she does not have to be Irish to receive something like that, so the main reason why people choose these rings, it is their beauty and uniqueness. However, it is something sure about Irish engagement rings: they have a long history and are very important for that country. If you are looking for a ring with a deep significance and symbolism, then Irish engagement rings are perfect!

Or, in case you are Irish also, Irish engagement rings will continue the tradition. Even it is not this case, they are still unique and very different from all that it is on the market. Pick what metal and precious stone you want, but the result will always be great and she will surely like it! If you cannot find Irish engagement rings in the stores, search on the Internet as you will also have the opportunity to read the comments and the reviews, so this way, you will be guided and will know what choice to make. The colors and the setting are also very important, but as long as you will opt for this type of rings, you can be sure they will look outstanding on her fingers!

If you are unsure about whether you want an Irish engagement ring, you should probably do a little more research into what they are and whether they are right for you. This blog will help you get a general idea of what Irish engagement rings are all about, to help keep you informed in your decision making process, and hopefully clear up whether or not you want one.

Irish engagement rings are often very ornate. This means that the band will have some sort of design that is unique and spectacular, and often very original the Irish heritage that it is coming from. Because the Irish culture is largely based on the celtic culture before it, the Irish engagement rings try to include a lot of this culture into the design of the ring. There might be celtic crosses or even clovers in the ring itself, in an attempt to accentuate the beauty of the ring. If culture is something that is very important to you and the person receiving the ring, an Irish engagement ring might be an excellent choice for you.

You may want to do a good bit of research into your own heritage also before you choosing a ring of a different culture. Do you have any Irish heritage in you? Does your loved one? Would choosing a ring from this culture add anything to your engagement experience? Really, the whole point of the engagement ring is to enhance the experience of the engagement, and to accent what is important in the relationship. If neither of you are Irish and you don’t practice any of the common Irish cultural practices, an Irish engagement ring is probably a poor choice.

The luck of the Irish is a saying that was derived from the engagement ring. Well, that isn’t necessarily true however, luck did have something to do with the equation. You see over 300 years ago the Irish believed that if they wore a certain type of Irish engagement ring it would bring blessings and much happiness to the married couple to be. Irish engagement rings can be worn by any one. The most standard types tend to be Celtic, Emerald, or Claddagh.

Celtic engagement rings usually have unique designs like twisted ribbons with lines that stand for the forever loving heart of each person romantically linked. This was to make sure that their lives were tied together in marriage forever without the possibility of ever splitting away.

Emerald rings have a special connection to the Irish culture because of their radiant green color. They don’t have as much symbolism as other Irish engagement rings however, they are an important part of the love and trust of each partner.

The Claddagh ring usually comes with two hands that are embracing a heart with a crown. The meaning behind this gesture is companionship, the crown equals loyalty and trust, and the heart of course symbolizes the everlasting love between the two partners. The Irish believe that in order to have a successful marriage all of these qualities must be intact and they must be one.

One thing for sure the Irish definitely knew something about the quality of love. Through their precious symbols on the Irish engagement ring, many people the world over have established the same concepts that they have been preaching for years and years.

When considering an Irish engagement ring, its important to first understand the heritage of the country you are representing in your commitment. Ireland, however small to other countries it may be, has a very rich heritage that is marked in romance and history. Its location of just outside of England makes it a central location for many key events throughout history, and its culture boasts a very romantic and community oriented approach to daily life.

Much of Ireland heritage is present throughout the various displays of art that it boasts to the world. Firstly, Ireland has a rich history of popular music that ranges from the rock band U2 to Celtic music listened to by all. U2 has been sweeping the globe with their music for decades, and is still one of the most listened to bands of this generation. Regarding other forms of Irish music, all genres from acoustic folk rock to heavy metal can be found touring throughout Ireland, many of these artists having a market inside the United States.

Aside from music, Ireland also has a rich history of literature that stems from its small borders. Popular writers like George Bernard Shaw, William Butler Yeats, Samuel Beckett and Seamus Heaney were Irish writers who have put out timeless works of literature and been rewarded for it by receiving the Nobel Peace Prize for Literature. Also, another noteworthy Irish author is Jonathan Swift who is considered by most to be the father of satirical writing with his works Gulliver’s travels and A Modest Proposal. Finally, James Joyce, who practically invented a style of writing called stream of consciousness, was another famous author from Ireland.

If you are planning to use an Irish engagement ring, understanding the culture is a must before the proposal.

When it comes to Irish engagement rings a lot of things come to mind. Irish history, the Celts, and traditional catholic weddings are to name a few. Irish engagement rings are very special in their own right and they are definitely a joy in the Irish Catholic Church. Keep in mind that you do not in any means have to be Irish to wear an Irish engagement ring. As a matter of fact these type rings are worn the world over in couples that are engaged.

The Celtic engagement ring typically is a ring that has many different designs and patterns that are twined together to represent the unity of the couple. This type ring is a symbol of the affection and love that brings together two people in matrimony.

Claddagh engagement rings are rings that have origins dating back over 3 centuries ago in the small Irish town called Claddagh. This type ring has various designs that normally feature two hands holding a heart-shaped crown. Of course the hands symbolize friendship and the hearted-crown represents love, loyalty, and fidelity. It is told that each one of these things is key to a long-lasting and happy marriage.

The Emerald engagement ring has a distinct relationship to Ireland because of its marvelous green color. The Emerald has less symbolism than the other two types of rings that we have discussed, however they still indeed have a fine connection to the Ireland culture. The Emerald engagement ring is usually selected by younger couples while the Celtic and Claddagh rings are cherished more by the older or more traditional style cultures.

Irish (also referred to as Celtic) engagement rings are some of the most elegant rings in al the world. They combine the beautiful symbolism of an engagement with the rich history or celtic symbolism. Now the Celtic people are a group that did not leave a whole lot in the way of history as far as writings but they did leave their mark in their artwork. Given this information the Celtic artwork has transferred beautifully into Irish engagement rings.

The most popular of all Irish engagement rings are the Celtic knotwork designs. Celtic knotwork is meant to symbolize the infinite nature of time as well as the connection between nature and all living creatures.

The Celtic Knotwork design utilizes two unbroken and continuous loops. These loops are inseparable from each other just as the lives of the groom and the bride will be intertwined. This gorgeous style of Irish artwork really represents the unity of marriage and bond between a husband and a wife. Each stand of the ring brings to life the meanings of love, life and faith to the two people that are planning on getting married.

Celtic jewelry really started to gain in popularity in the late 1990′s due to the upsurge in Irish based entertainment like Riverdance. There were women of Irish heritage from all over the world that were clamoring to show off their Irish background with Celtic engagement rings.

Irish Engagement Rings have been continuing to grow in popularity making them a great engagement ring choice.

I have never understood people who are not proud of their heritage. Even though you may think that you are not from the perfect place or have the best family ever, I think it’s important to be proud of who you are. Because of this, I have been proud of my Irish heritage since I was old enough to understand what that means.

While I didn’t consciously make an effort to fall in love with a woman who shared my Irish heritage, I think I have always subconsciously been more attracted to women who do share my heritage. To make a long story short, I fell in love with a beautiful Irish-American girl just over three years ago, and last month I took our relationship to the next level by proposing to her.

Since I am so proud of the heritage that we share, it was only right for me to purchase an Irish engagement ring for her. She shares my pride for our heritage, so she couldn’t be more happy with the Irish engagement ring that is one her finger.
